Hi Yang-May,

I am really enjoying your blog. I work for the official opposition in South

Africa, the Democratic Alliance, and am responsible of Marketing, including

online marketing. I have recently started to focus more on Web 2.0 (hence

my subscription to your feed :))

We have got a whole lot of new initiatives in the pipeline (and I have

started a personal blog to write about my experiences in charting these

Our currently leader, Helen Zille, is also the Mayor of Cape Town, and she

has a blog - helenzille.co.za - which was actually the initiative of a

supporter. She also has had about 35 video-logs uploaded to www.zoopy.com

(South Africa's answer to YouTube) in the last 6 months.

It's still early days for us, but I hope to make blogging and online

interaction a much bigger feature in our conversations with voters and

other stakeholders.
